An Arduino is a programmable microcontroller with pins so that you can program components such as lights, displays, and motors. It is programmed in a variant of C++, optimized to program Arduino boards specifically.
Each workshop comes with a kit that you get to keep! Want to sign up for multiple workshops? For each additional workshop you sign up for at once, take $50 off! Starting with the beginner workshop is a must unless you have prior experience!
This workshop consists of 5 projects that teach the very basics of Arduino circuitry and programming with a variety of sensors, LEDs, and a display. No experience necessary!
Next session: Wednesday, June 4th from 2pm - 5pm
The motors workshop teaches the basics of wiring and programming three types of motors: DC motors, stepper motors, and servo motors. You will learn how each motor works as well as the technology that drives them.
Next session: Wednesday, June 11th from 2pm - 5pm
This workshop features the Arduino Alvik, a programmable robot! This workshop not only showcases some of the many sensors the robot has but also teaches bluetooth connectivity between Arduino boards!
Next session: Wednesday, June 18th from 2pm - 5pm
With IoT (Internet of Things), you can preform tasks wirelessly in a different fasion than bluetooth! In this workshop, you will learn the ins and outs of Arduino Cloud and WiFi connectivity with Arduino boards.
Next session: Wednesday, June 25th from 2pm - 5pm
Have an idea for a project and don't know where to begin? Need to learn how to use a microcontroller, sensor, or component? Intrested in a specific topic? Want to learn how to programming and circuitry with Arduino but can't make the above dates? Ask for a private consultation!
Workshops are held at the Milton Maker's Makerspace at 104 Church Street, Milton NY 12547. There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 per each session.
